Blue Peruvian Opal naturally occurs with swirling patterns of deep blues, blue to greens and greens swirled with yellow to green, rust, brown and orange. It is highly prized for its beautiful combinations of colors and for its opalescence — the pearly luster of the opaque stone. Peruvian Opal was considered by the Incas to be a gift from Pachamama, the Inca Goddess of Fruitfulness and Mother Earth.
